. Most people still have a conscience and know right from wrong. And if she was truly your friend, she would have tried to make it work or at least take a step back and try to understand why you are upset instead of just gaslighting and ghosting you. I am sure she has her own issues but she should not have treated you like that and you should not make excuses for her behavior.
I hate when people use bad situations or mental illness or whatever to excuse their horrible behavior tbh. Going through something like that does not automatically give you the right to treat people horribly and it just contributes to the already hugely existent stigma against mental illness. See a darn therapist and work through it instead of conveniently blaming it on your (general you) problems, you know??
