I say never trust a pirate. Personal experience.

Amer packs a sack of flour in one barrel, table scraps in the next, and climbs into another. “Think you can push this?” The flamingos are skeptical.
She climbs out of her barrel and shoves one barrel into the surf and it floats easily on the surface of the water. Surprisingly, if the flamingo ran on top of it, lifting its spindly legs high, it could propel the barrel forward at an impressive speed of three miles per hour. Unfortunately the contents inside were probably being mutilated by smashing around, but Amer obviously hadn’t ever been educated in the laws of gravity. A good thing, or she would be incapable of flight and her flamingos would be incapable on the feat the one was displaying before her.
Amer shoved the barrel of flour in. The barrel was heavier and the flour wasn’t tumbled so much. Fortunately, it was a strong flamingo on top, and he could keep up with his comarade.
“Excellent!” Amer said. “The power of fictional flamingos is on our side! Estimated arrival time, one hour from now!”
That’s when she came to Bilbo’s dilemma. How do you get into a barrel when there is no one to pack you in?
As I am not one to copy the incredible Barrel Rider, Amer set the barrel in the water a couple inches from shore. She climbed in and set the lid on top. Don’t worry about her missing lunch, she packed a sandwich and a flask of water in a bag on her side.
A flamingo drilled the lid on top with its bill and Amer tipped it over with her weight.
The flamingo was on... and she was off, about to discover just how uncomfortable it was to be trapped in a rotating barrel for an hour.
I’m afraid to say she smushed her sandwich.
@sealer39
@electrycmonk go wild. Or she can get to her location. That would be nice.
Would have been easier to get a ride on a ship. Just sayin. :lau
But since you offended the pirate by not trusting him here I come.

The barrels float free.
Flamingos fly straight & safe
A blink of the eye.

The bird hop on land
The barrels roll up the shore
Safely in a cove

They squawk to open
You tumble out and roll Flat
Wisdom will come soon.

A breeze begins to brush past you....

A sound, almost like that of electrical humming begins to resonate in your minds ears... Then, a very obvious switch is activated within your mind-

<Click>

"Cookies sound really good right now," a voice starts to speak in your mind... Just loud enough to distract you from the thought you were in the middle of.....

You find that your minds own voice speaks, "Why, yes... A cookie does sound scrumptious but, should I use a glass or a mug for the milk to dip it in?"
The other voice now sounds more clearly like the one and only Cookie Monster, "Mmmmmmm, Cooo-oookieeee...."

Your minds voice agrees.....as you nod in real time staring at this picture....

As your lost in its forever spiral, 3 turns of the page passes you by....
On the 4th page that passes you by the question returns, "cup or mug for the milk?" In your mind....

It order to break free you must create a haiku extolling the joys of cookies.

My mind's voices don't talk about cookies. :oops:

Turns out I had to rescue @Amer because she didn’t account for the rough seas. There are 4 tropical disturbances out here now. She was pretty banged up but she’s resting comfortably in a stateroom now. Her flamingos were are in the crows nest and I’m headed to Nutter Island to drop her off.
