Kat laughed. "Jeez, Jenna. You are seriously crazy."
"Hey, at least I can get a date, 'Crazy Kat Lady.'"
"I've told you before. I don't really see the point in dating," Kat shrugged, "All it ends up in is broken friendships and broken hearts." Her friend sighed, rolling her eyes. Kat shoved her playfully and tipped her over, resulting in another fit of giggles.
Jaden lay on his bead, reading. The sunshine was shining brightly on his face and he went to the window to close the blinds.
Rose walked home, her book clutched tightly to her chest. All the rest of her binders and textbooks were in the bright, baby blue backpack that hung from her shoulders. It was her favorite backpack because it was the perfect color. It was also slightly ripped and dirty. But Rose didn't care. Her dark hair hung over her face as she looked at the pavement, not making eye contact with anyone or anything. She walked in to her home, and headed to her room. The color of her walls were, of course, a bright, baby blue. Rose gently plopped the backpack next to the side of her bed and put the book she held on top of the desk. The girl sat down on her bed, staring at the window and whatever was behind it. She felt as if the world was changing. Maybe for the best, maybe for the worst, but it was changing. She sighed.
Jaden stopped, looking out the window. Everything out there was black, but the sunlight was still lighting up the room. Everything returned to normal, and he walked out there from the front door downstairs.
Kendall:
I stopped and waited by the school bench for my mom to come and pick me up. As I waited I saw Dustin. I wanted to stop him but to him I was invisible. As he walked by he didn't even look at me. I said ''Hey!'' I felt so stupid. He turned around and he looked at me, smiled, then kept walking. Dustin had dark brown hair with the prettiest ice blue eyes. As I waited my mom finally pulled up and we went home.
Dustin:
I thought of that girl that yelled at me on the side walk. I knew I had seen her at school but I couldn't remember her name. ''Ugh! What in the hell is it?" I asked myself. ''Forget it." I said. As I was walking home I saw a girl my age waving at me. It was her. ''KENDALL!'' I said finally remembering.
