"Yeah we got cut off and it seemed important. What's up?" Mark said, noting the troubled look.
Ella smiled at him then looked around, wondering what kind of weirdness she would see before the day ended today. "Weird is one word for it." She said softly

"Well…Don't wanna seem paranoid here, but maybe you two should come in." said Logan awkwardly.
 
Kat turned to see Kestrel double over in pain and drop her notebook. She hurried over to her, picking up her notebook and handing it to her. "Are you all right?" she asked. Her phone vibrated but she didn't want to seem rude to Kestrel so she ignored it. Upside down, she could see that she was listing something but couldn't read what.

Kestrel looked up. "Yeah." she said through clenched teeth, taking the notebook.
