Audric touched his gun, almost instantly, his skin became hard as iron. "We can do whatever you want." He grinned.
Karan flinched slightly. "I know you don't really like Seze..." She murmured, heading back over to the gap and ducking inside.

"It's not that I don't like her, its just that gigantic animals make me nervous." Audric muttered.
Karan looked over her shoulder. "Well, don't be afraid of Seze, she's as gentle as a kitten. But be afraid of Pa'ley. He hates everyone and everything." She chuckled. She reached above her head and grasped a limb, maneuvered herself to land back on the spiral. She slid down it, and landed at the bottom of the tree. Karan ducked under another gap, returning to the biolumenescent grove.

Audric followed her easily this time, quickly reaching her side. "Ya know, that kid has a major crush on you." He grinned.
She raised an eyebrow. "Whaaat?" Karan shuddered, then laughed. "You nearly had me there."

"I'm not joking." Audric shook his head. "I can tell by the way he acted when he was talking to you."
"Oh god." Karan sighed.
