The apprentice tried to contact Austin or Eric, but neither could hear the messages he sent them telepathically.

Neytiri looked up at the apprentice weakly. Austin! Neytiri thought.

The only sounds from Austin was gunshots and yells of pain. Explosions and running were heard from Eric. Neither could hear the calls from Neytiri and the apprentice.

Despite the danger they were in, he gave a sligt chuckle. "Yeah, but have you looked t yourself lately?" He stood, slowly carrying her towards camp.

She smiled weakly. "You're more important to me than my own life..."

Austin felt something was wrong. His mind raced as he tried to think of what happened.
