Doesn't it though?! I think Niki and Sam should give everyone one quail chick and tell them, "This is just a sample of what we offer....you'll love it. When you're ready for more, you know where to find us."
Niki your birds are so pretty....Oh Sam I want your red tux!!! oh I want babies lol I can't wait for mine to come. Sam do you sell eggs? I would be interested in some of that darlings eggs when she's laying.
I now need a bigger set up lol I will need to get into this color genetics thing. Is there such thing as lavender?

Lavander. Yes there has to be *because* there IS blue in coturnix. However, I've only read/seen a blue coturnix in scientific breedings where they discuss the color genetics of coturnix. So if theres blue, theres lav.
I will be working with blue downed chicks come November....however these birds are ONLY blue downed as chicks... so it's still a project thingaling And yes Sam sells silly
(My golden roo Hawn is from his original stock, then he sold out and just reciently got back into them)!
Well I need to learn more about the lavander gene before I even get close to attempting getting self blue (aka lav) from blue
Then again I ALSO have to get my blue downed chicks and work on making a BLUE bird before i can get to that point! Buuuuuutt you betcha! May take me a few years (i can imagine...trial and error) but it'll be fun! Blue is, after all, my favorite color!
Niki you gotta let me know about these color projects lol..I would love to be a partner in it if you need one.
And not trying to thread jack by any means but yes I do sell and currently have an eggbid auction going. She is being bred by a Tux Tibettan so I'm hoping for some red/chocolate tux chicks.
