The Rhodebar thread!

These traveled approx. 700 Miles USPS 2 day express. I have 3 table top units made by Farm Innovators pro series. I have had very good luck with them, with the exception of 2 hatches. One I lost power. The other was an order from efowl.com. One chick hatched 4 days early, with the turner still inside. none of the other 17 hatched. I caught one of the rbs hatching on video today. This is the link . it is pretty short.

I'm curious about the color of a little cockerel I hatched. I posted a photo from just a couple of days older earlier in this thread, but I'll post it again with a side view.





And this was taken yesterday, he's feather out nicely, faster than the other mixed breed chicks I hatched at the same time.



What I'm curious about is his blue/silver tones. The other chicks I see on this thread are various shades of brown. It's this a normal variation in chick down color or ??
