I have a young Rhodebar Rooster. I bought him a few weeks ago locally in Georgia. So far he is great. He is calm and even affectionate. He trilled on my shoulder yesterday. I have 8 ladies waiting for him to grow up. From my experience with the girls (our first chickens ever) he is very calm and poised compared to them. They were a bit flighty and although I tried to pet and hold them, they didn't like it much, but he (named 'Little Man') is very accommodating and will sleep in my hands.
