The Rhodebar thread!

Help! I am a total chicken beginner as well as new to this website. Please excuse any ignorance on my part. A friend hatched us a few Rhodebar chicks as well as a few black copper Marans. To my understanding the Rhodebar's gender can be determined as chicks. I looked at several pictures from this thread and was happy to determine I had two females. I am including pictures. The Rhodebar chick on the right is the chick in question. Sadly we lost the other to a dog. The picture below is The chick now, at 18 weeks. This chick...my daughter named it Chip...does not appear female to me. In fact, she..."it" crows all day. Now according to Google it is in fact possible and not even that uncommon for hens to crow. However, I'm pretty sure we have a Roo. Am I wrong in thinking as a chick it appeared to be a pullet? Any thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks in advance!
The top left darkest chick "might" be a Rhodebar, the others are not. And there are no Rhodebars in the adult picture. Sorry

Does anybody sell chicks or eggs that the chicks are already able to be auto sexed and the parents are of good quality. If so pm me please thank you and gob bless.

Absolutely! If the entire hatch isn't 100% easily autosexed then they aren't Rhodebars.
I have oodles right now and am getting ready to set F2 and BC1 eggs.

Ok well I like auto sexing breeds and I am considering adding a auto sexing breed that is why I asked. I think they would sell good here ,because of there ability ,plus I like them and would like to help them in the US. But I don't know if I want legbars or rhodebars. Currently on my farm all I have is coturnix quail ,brassy back OEGB's ,and rabbits and know once I get the breeding business going a auto sexing breed.
So how much for some rhodebars that are at the point that I can autos ex the chicks.

And thank you for your reply.

What part of Georgia are you in? I have fertile Crested Cream Legbar hatching eggs if you are interested in hatching some. I'm in North Georgia near Blur Ridge. No Charge if you pick-up.

Ok I'll consider got any picks and how do the locals like the CCL's

Here's a couple of pics of my adults. My rooster got frostbite and lost part of his comb when the temps dropped below zero here last winter. It was enormous before that. There are two different hens in the photos. You can private message me for any more info, this is The Rhodebar thread so let's get back on topic.
