Jeesh....this just stinks! I am so sorry for the uprooting. However, I like your attitude on it. On to bigger and better things! I know the 2 of you will thrive, wherever you land. Heck...Think Indiana!! We have LOTS of small farms out this way, for sale....cheap. We got our 5 acres, big barn, 3 car shop, small pond, partly wooded, 2 bedroom with basement and 2 car garage....for under 90,000. And no...its not a dump.

Hey...if you come through Indiana....down st rt 50...stop on in for a bit. Im sure I can load you up on goodies to eat, and the kiddos will have plenty fun. A hot shower, and clean sheets....helps make the trip a little better.

Jim & Skand - When do you guys expect to pack up and go? I feel bad you have to do this too, but it also sounds like a great adventure for you and the kids! And hopefully you get to bring a few of your favourite chickens with you.

been thinking bout that cold,, and worried bout getting there while its cold,, "working" into it shouldnt be so bad,,, if in the next week or so i can find a cheap nuff camper,, we might just camp out till june, then go lol,,, and would give me time to stash some cash

everything in my life usually turns out for the better,, it usually doesnt seem like it at first, and times do get tough, but at the end of the day, as long as the wifers is next to me, the kids are in a warm bed with bellies full, and i can say i know tomorrow will be just as good,,,, then,, its all jus fine with me.

well, i just got off the phone with my partner that was in the wreck,, told him i plan on trying to get a camper,, he says,, you #@*@ head! ,,, take my airstream for as long as ya want it.
sooooo ,,, looks like we're camping for a couple months,, hehehehe ,, OOOooo did i mention im a camping FREAK !! in maine i would live in a tent at the campground for the summer,, hahahaha ,, i think this is gonna be funz

and now with all these GREAT FRIENDS from here to there,, sounds like in june our trip may take us a couple weeks,, with all these stops at all our friends,,,, hehehehe

Jim and Skand, I am so glad to hear your plans are coming together. It is still an unfortunate situation, but you are making the best of it. I personally love camping and I think the girls may think it is a wonderful adventure! Now how many birds can you fit in an airstream!!?????
