well,,, update,,, today i have to go look at a rv park-wanna-be place

we have a really nice place,, BUT,, this dude was here buying chicks yesterday

,, and,, said he is starting a place for rv's and trailers,, says he has a herd of horses already,, wants chicks,,, and,,, AND,, if i build a coop for my peas,,, I CAN KEEP THEM!!!!!! hehehehe
i knew these things would work out and be the way their "pose to be"

It sure is easier to roll with the punches when it’s only you. Once kiddos are involved, things get tougher. One thing I’ve noticed though, if you watch how kids just bloom wherever they are and enjoy things, it sort of eases matters for us too. Yeah, they have tough moments, miss this or that or get sad here and there, but if they think its “Just Another Adventure” they tend to stay relaxed about things. Yeah, some things are NOT going to be great, but your love is their constant.

I hope this ‘almost-an-RV-park’ turns out to be a fun place in the long run. It sounds like it might be and so COOL about your Peas!

I also lived and worked for a short time, (from August thru January, so some bad weather too) “Down East” and I had a great time, though it was not a normal life since it was just for a finite time. Still, I thought it was beautiful, interesting, and oddly-tolerant of odd folk! That part surprised me for such a traditional New England-ish sort of place… The stolid Mainers just sort of gave a little smile and a nod, and said, “Eyup. That bunch that lives on the old Peterson place, they are an odd lot.” And leave it at that. If you got to where they trusted you a little more, you –might- hear a little more detail, but rarely mean, I was surprised at just how much everyone respected each other’s space. That tolerance is something I saw much less of when I lived in Texas. Not saying Texas is bad, no no no, don’t come chasing me down you Texans!!! Just saying there’s many good things in Maine. I also like snow though… yes, I’m a little odd that way. Cross country skiing and snowshoeing is honestly a lot of fun. (I lived 7 years in Alaska, though parts of Maine out-snows AK too!)

I am really thinking/hoping/praying this will all work out great for you and yours in the end. Bless your friend for letting you use his camper, how about he flies to Maine next fall for a little vacation/hunting trip and drives it back to Texas! *cough* ok, enough out of me!! ((hugs to you both)) -- sorry, can’t help it, we’re a hugging sort of family!!
