The Roo that changed my mind.

I had only had 1 rooster in my life and it was an EVIL RIR, I was a young Mom and had no clue how to deal with roos at all. I hatched my own barnyard mix of eggs and the very first chick to hatch was dubbed Dinochicken, because it looked VERY prehistoric lol. Anyway as the clan grew i culled out roos that had not so nice disposition and just didn't appeal to me. DinoRoo as he is now called couldn't be nicer even going through puberty and having 2 other roos with him, he makes them behave themselves with the girls, he eats out of my hand and is good with the people he grew up seeing all the time. I had one of the underling roo's start to sidestep towards me and Dino let him have it and it hasn't happened again.

Beautiful rooster...wow I really like him........... Glad he is so nice I'm praying 1 of my many is a nice rooster, I want to keep 2 but will see what my mixed flock turns out to be.
