(1) I am not new to chickens. I've had chickens for 4 years. The first chicks I got was January 18, 2015. I bought my two chicks from a flea market. Both boys but Olaf passed away after 3 months (unsure why). Pikachu grew up but passed away on November 27, 2015 (from sickness).
(2) I currently have 2 roosters and 8 hens. The Munoz chickens aren't mine, they belong to my mom and aunt. (Males) Tiny Munoz and Princess Jose Ruiz. (Females) Eagle Munoz, Beyonce Munoz, Ruby Ruiz (Ruby is mommy to the rest of these girls also mom to Princess). Gum Ruiz, Lucy Ruiz, Captian Ruiz, Lu Ruiz and Patches Ruiz.
(3) ALL of them are mixed. (males) Tiny is a nankin and Princess is a marsh daisy. (females) Eagle, Beyonce, Ruby, Gum, Captian, Lucy are all mixed hybrids. Lu and Patches are mixed with a hybrid but came out with all white feathers.
(4) I discovered BackYardChickens.com from researching for my first two chicks back in 2015. This site was really helpful and full of many people with great advice. I always come to the site when I am unsure of something. I read peoples stories and receive a lot of information to just about anything. I am so glad to find and join this amazing website.
(5) My hobbies are currently drawing/painting. I love bonding with all my animals. Researching is oddly my favorite thing to do. I like to clean, I know that's not a hobby but it's something too. I love watching movies and going out with friends.
(6) My parents, they have been so supportive throughout my life. I have two older siblings. My sister is the oldest and my brother is second oldest. I am the youngest. aside from the chickens, I have two dogs, father, and son. (father) is named Tyrannosaurus rex or (Rex). he is a mixed retriever and cocker spaniel. (son) is named Shingo (shaggy dog). he is a mixed with his dad and pure poodle. Finally, I have two cockatiels both male and female named Billy and Lilly. some other things are I am 19 but will turn 20 in October. I live in Arlington Tx.
