I've called five or six feed stores looking for some good game bird starter since my recent one is getting expensive and I got in a fight with the guy and his partner who ran the other one... I have gotten the funniest answers today, one said that they would sell me Dumor. Well they're not a TSC. They told me it was $19.47 and was perfect for starting quail. I almost laughed, I told her I could go to TSC and get it $3 cheaper. Then she tried to convince me her place was better.

Next a lady tried to sell me flockraiser and told me it would be a great starter. It was $18 a bag and not even as good as what I am feeding. Then I called the co-op. They told me they had a 28% medicated starter, but it had molasses in it... So I called another ma and pa store and they tried to sell me start and grow. I said no, and called the first place to see if they had any non-medicated since I left. I said Hi Sir do you have any game bird feed. He said yes ma'am in a creepy voice so i hung up... Once again my efforts yield little results.

$19.20 per 50lb bag of Purina GBS here in my small town. 3 months ago it was $16.50... Drive 30 miles and I can save $1.50 a bag...

I can get purina for $22 but I'd rather buy the KTA. The mill's blend was good for a while, now I'm trying to find a mill that will do it for me...

$16.40 for a 50# bag of FRM GBS 28% at Alachua Farm and Lumber.

$4.17/gallon for premium gas at the Shell on Archer Road and 34th Street in Gainesville.
