Chilali sighed softly and pulled back to look into his eyes

Mark smiled at her and took the herbs and the meat and started preparing them. He found a pan and got the stove going so he could cook it (I am assuming wood-burning since they had to build these places)

Angel sat and looked at her leg then around before closing her eyes, nearly falling into a trance as she had been taught to do

(I am assuming they are using a wood burning stove there since they couldn't go and buy a stove or anything else, unless you want them to have a regular stove. Middle of the woods/trying to stay hidden, the only utilities would be what they could make)

"Alright, then sit and get comfortable. I know they always show people getting in a lotus position, but that isn't necessary. The goal of meditation is to focus and quiet your mind, eventually reaching a higher level of awareness and inner calm, allowing yourself to access a sense of tranquility and peace no matter what's going on around you." Angel said and smiled gently. "Meditation can be performed with the eyes open or closed, however as a beginner it may be best to first try meditating with your eyes closed. This will block out any external visual stimulation and prevent you from becoming distracted as you focus on calming your mind."
