The guards then heard something then quickly made sure to pull out their dart guns in case.

Skye jumped at the sound that had risen up in her throat, and even more so when the guards pulled out some black things- that she assumed must be guns. The jump made her stumble in her fright, and she treaded on a branch

Noah woke up with a cramp in his neck. He rubbed it and sat up. He scratched his eyes and gazed around.

(Dart Guns. Sleeping Darts are being fired at Leah)

Ben then began to follow, not accepting of losing Leah now.

Leahs ears were pinned right back as she entered the first few trees, and she couldn't help but waste a few precious seconds by glancing back. She saw Emerald hadn't managed to follow her, and now Ben was racing after her. Great.

Skye's first impulse was to snap back at the guard when he grabbed her, and couldn't help retorting in a snarky tone, "I never said I was smart, just not mental." She threw in a feisty kick- no way was she gonna be dragged off to that lab without some sort of reluctance

Skye stumbled forward, gritting her teeth in rage. If she'd had her fox ears right then, they would have been pinned right back.
