The camera watched what she was doing.


The guard took her to the lab and made her sit in a chair.

Mark followed her in and looked around then closed his eyes and took a deep breath, using the wolf to find Sara's scent

Chilali was trying to break the lock the way she had seen Sara and Audrey do. After a few tries she gave up and moved to sit on her bed again, looking to her belly and wondering if she really was pregnant, and what that meant for her future.

Mark continued to look for cameras, throwing a rock at another one he saw before he joined her at the door. He looked to her then at the door and reached over to move her out of the way gently before turning to the door to kick at it, making the lock break off of it again

Pat waited for a moment then moved to leave the room, thinking. She was glad he had seemed to decide not to do anything to her, not that anything he did would completely dampen her curious nature. Nothing ever had before, and it was unlikely anything would.
