"How do you know it's completed?" Mark asked, worry in his tone

Luke looked at him "Well you'll know when you start looking like the animal on your charm. It'll stop at either the fur, or a tail' he said "Once you the fur is grown in then you wait, if you don't get the tail, then you know it's complete" he said pacing back and forth thinking "Lucky for me, I don't have a tail, because that's just a pain" he said

Max didn't say a word, he knew he wasn't a bad person, he was just caught at the wrong time at the wrong place.

Luke sighed "That might be right, but that doesn't mean you will be killed. You have a chance to live, just like Joshua and I did. Joshua was a teenager like any other, but he helped out me with crime, he wasn't a good person, but to me he was the best person a guy could meet. The point of this is, I wasn't a great teenager. I was terrible, but look at me, I'm still alive and I'm fine......well kind of" he said looking at her fur covered hands.
