Anna walked through the hallways, unable or unwilling to be still. She wanted out of this place. Eventually she ended up outside her room and drew her fist back to hit the glass on the door before going to throw herself onto the bed and curl up on it, crying quietly.

The man got up and went to see Anna, he knew she probably down about what's been happening.

Mark had found a quiet table in the corner to sit on while he watched those around him.

Sara walked into the room, she sat at a table all by herself, thinking about something.

Anna didn't notice him come in at first. When she did she wiped at her eyes and looked to him, moving to sit up.

Mark noticed her and decided to act sociable for a moment. He walked over to the table she was at and leaned against the end "Hello"

Anna didn't notice him come in at first. When she did she wiped at her eyes and looked to him, moving to sit up.

Anna shook her head "I don't mind" she said quietly then pulled her legs up so she could wrap her arms around them and rest her chin on her knees.


Mark smiled and glanced up at the guards then back to her. "I'm Mark, what's your name?"

"I can't eat that stuff." Anna said and pulled her head down, hiding her face.


"You too, Sara." Mark said then sat down on the table "So, have you figured out what they are really after here?"

The man sighed "I know it's very gross, but if you eat that meat they give you it will fuel your animal side" he said thinking about something "I've seen what happens if your mind is taken over by the animal side. It's a terrible thing my friend and you don't want it to happen" he said then sighed "Let me tell you something about myself and even this place. I use to be a thief when I was your age, I was bought here to this place with four others. We all knew this place wasn't right, days went by without anything bad happening. then they put the DNA into us. We all started to slowly change it was the tenth day we noticed something was very wrong. I found out something, the gruel that is there was made by someone within the place to try and help us become immune to the DNA, so it wouldn't do anything. I started to eat it after I saw changes, but I couldn't stand the taste or the smell of it. So one day I woke up in my room and someone had come to my door and left me something" he said then pulled something out of his pocket "They could tell I was the only one who wanted to be normal again, so they gave me something to add the that stuff" he said


Sara sighed "Nope, but I know it's bad" she said

What I was given was honey" he said then put a bottle of honey next to Anna "I think you and everyone might need this, because I can tell no one will want to eat it plain" he said "My friends didn't listen to me, so they changed into the animals they were given, they had turned into full human/animal" he said thinking "then after they lost all control they were killed because they were all failure experiments" he said thinking "I'm the only one left of that group" he added.


Sara nodded "yeah, it's weird what they're doing" she said


Then two men in lab coats walked into the cafeteria and looked around, they spotted Sara and Mark and walked over.
