Carolyn watched Audrey remove the needle. "No sh-" She suddenly stopped, her eyes open wide, and her mouth slightly open. Carolyn lurched forward, only to be stopped by the chains. She stayed in that position for awhile, then her spider legs curled around her, like when a spider dies. Her eyes were glazed. Carolyn was still very much alive, but all she felt was a burning pain, spreading across her body from the point where the poison was injected.
Skye shivered a bit, looking away from the trees holding her upper arm again as was her habit.
"Ok, do we need a fire then?" Skye suggested, stopping also
Carolyn could hear nothing through the ringing in her ears, but something seemed to be sitting right next to her, hissing the word death into her ears over and over again. Rebellious tears flowed into her eyes, falling to the ground, yet no motions were made by the hunched figure except for a slight shaking. Carolyn gasped desperately for air, her mind's hands reaching for the darkness that ringed her vision. Her body somehow refused to shut down, it refused to let her pass out, to leave the pain behind. A gross chocking, sobbing cry of pain came from Carolyn's throat.
