"Ok, I saw a good tree over that way" Skye said, gestering to the left with a small smile. She could tell something was bothering him, but didn't want to ask any further

Max followed her and held onto the branches that she had broken off from the tree before.

"I'm not as worried about that as I am this. I would do anything, anything, to keep this part of my life from repeating."

Audrey then laughed "Like you've even had one, I've seen the worst of thing, both my parents are dead, my brother died in the military, my aunt is a no good moron and now...I'm here stuck talking to an even bigger idiot. I'd go back to the Cobras, if I could. I'd rather deal with the annoying voice of Sara then list to you, but sad to say. I'm here with leopard and lioness DNA and now I'm a freak!!" she growled.

"So are we gonna go back to the lab place?" Skye asked with a glance back as she walked

Ben then came in with trays and gave Audrey her then looked at Carolyn and gave her the tray "here, you ungrateful teenager" he said then went to leave without another word.

"Yea" Skye frowned. She quickly snapped out of it though- thinking about that kind of stuff didn't help

Max looked around and listened for anything.

Max looked around and listened for anything.

Carolyn glared at Ben. "F*** you too, Ben. Also, might I recall that I'm about the only person here who doesn't constantly complain about being turned into a freak?"

Zelda sat up and looked around. She was in a dark room, and from what she could make out through the bars of her cell in the dim light, there were no other people in here. Or experiments. She guessed that she was in the new district. It was cold and she shivered. She felt a prickle run down her spine and glanced down in time to see her bare feet change to the colour of the concrete floor. The last time she'd accidently camouflaged had been in the truck when they were transporting her to this place. They were locking her cage when she'd seemingly disappeared. There was a few minutes of noise and confusion where she'd nearly managed to escape but then she reappeared and they caught her again.

She was about to see what sort of locks there were on her cell when a door crashed open and bright light streamed in. A group of men were standing in the doorway, holding guns. The man in the lead started shouting for her to show herself or they'd shoot. Zelda stayed silent, hoping that they would open the door to her cell so she could escape.
"Wait- Maybe this is what they meant by a surprise. She's a chameleon right?" the man said. Unfortunately, thats when Zelda's camouflage decided to wear off, revealing her standing by the door.
