"Insanity, no. Ulcers, probably. Stress doesn't always show in one set form." Pat said then shook her head again "Take Mark for an example. He hides the stress behind his mask of not caring about anything or anyone. He has nearly perfected that to the point where he can almost convince himself of the lie in an attempt to relieve the stress of the situation. That is why using others pain will never work to control him, he will just pretend he doesn't care until that lie becomes a truth."
