Chilali thought she heard something and turned to look behind them, stopping to stare when she noticed two girls following them "Well now"

Audrey saw Chilai though her only good eye "Yes, that's a bird-girl" she said

Jason saw and looked at the other two girls.

Actually, it wasn't dark.
Briar blinked half consciously as she began to come to, sitting up with a dazed confused expression on her face. The artificial lights glared down at her and into her blue eyes, causing her to close them for a few seconds to recover. A hand shot up to her fore head as a low thundering ache seared through her head, the down sides of the anesthetic she had been given only a few hours ago.

It was a good few minutes before Briar was awake enough to stand, and even longer before she was gazing about the room she was in warily, then stepping toward a promising looking door.

"Just wanted to be sure I wasn't seeing things" Angel said as the two groups drew closer together "Hello" She said, trying to be friendly.

"Hello Chilali answered automatically then looked to Audrey "The guards have been around looking for you, Sara and Mark"

Audrey looked at Chilali "Not surprised, they've been hunting after the three most dangerous experiments. Me, for losing it on Ben after he kick me to the side and tried to kill me, Sara because she's...........different and Mark, because Ben just wants to see him fall" she said then looked at Jason, then looked at Chilai "I bet you can guess why, Ben left me." she said pointing to the missing eye.

Jason watched and listened.

Briar jumped back with a sharp yelp when she caught a glimpse of the guards. Am I being kidnapped?! Was just one of the terrified thoughts swirling around in her confused head. She finally peaked out the door after a minute
