"Audrey, stop growling at us" Mark said tiredly. "You don't work for Ben anymore"

Pat drew in a sharp breath, pushing back against the pain that wanted to take over. She looked to Ben and smirked "Cleaned up real nice though" She said shakily as the stuff started working on her. She hadn't been known as Pat back then, she had used the nickname of 'Cat' and had done worse than just picking pockets, she had become a cat burglar in order to survive. She had never killed anyone, but that life had led her to meet the doctor that had changed her life and helped her to become a doctor also

Chilali sighed and reached to hug him "I don't know what that was" She said softly then sat back and looked around "I don't want them to find us again"

Audrey looked at Mark "Shut it" she growled.

Ben chuckled "Cat was your nickname, you're the reason I became this man, well not an evil man, actually a person who wanted to work in science. I wanted to see what I could become, well this is what I've become a mad man who only cares about creating creatures that could help police catch people that were like you and these teenagers. Only one thing had to go wrong with my plans that made me turn into this man" he said then grabbed Pat and threw her against the ground.

She pulled her fist back to her body as if she still held the chip since he wouldn't have seen it from his position and looked to him "What went wrong?" She asked then shivered as the pain made her body want to sieze up on her.

Ben looked at her "My 13 year old daughter happened' he said "She was messing around in my lab, saying she wasn't going to touch or do anything, but she did touch something Cheetah DNA. She injected herself out of pure ignorance and said she didn't mean it, I knew she meant to do that" he said "She then became the creature that I didn't want, but still loved for some reason. I believe she got what she deserves" he said "She lied to me about stealing, she lied to me about going with some guy I don't approve of and then she lies to me about getting a gang tattoo" he said

She knew now what she hadn't as a teen herself. She had been in her 'group' when she was 10, she had looked innocent enough that people had trusted her, making it easy to steal from them
