One wing slipped beneath the scientist's feet and threw him up into the air, away from Amy. It then stood straight up in the air as a wall shielding her wounded arm. Her other wing began to gently pull out the knife, and laid the tip of a few feathers on the opening of her wound. Amy breathed heavily as she tried to hold back tears. She didn't mean to hurt anyone, but all her life she never stood up for herself. Today she was weak and exhausted, and instinctively her fear caused her to defend herself from the pain these men where causing her.
