The officer looked at her "Don't worry about that man, we have him under our custody. Ben will no longer be problem but we did have to stop someone or something from killing him" he said

Jean flushed at the attention and tried to hide against Chilali's side. She mumbled something but it was indistinguishable even to their hearing.

Viveka took the needle, ignoring the guards' movements. She propped herself up on the table, let out an almost unnoticeable deep breath, and injected herself with the medicine. She pulled out the needle and set it down next to her, and spent the rest of her time awake making sure that her head didn't crash on to the metal surface.

The scientist came over and brought over a few things he would need.

"Well this place was where I wanted to do some experimenting, originally not on people but rats or mice" he said "But then my daughter injected herself with some of the DNA we had been given, so I wanted to find a cure for her before she turned all the way. I did but by that time it was to late so I had to find a cure that could destroy all the DNA cells and turn her back into a person not just half of one" he said

"one? there's more than one?" Addy asked

"Yes, because well it's mostly used as storage more than an office, but I do go in there to do some work" he said

Mark smiled a little then hugged her to him.
