One time he told me that he was an outlaw who had murdered, and stolen before. He kidnapped me to do his dirty work for him so I would get caught instead of him if anyone found out. She bit her lip as she held back tears. "He told me to steal that necklace. I didn't want to but he burned my arm until I finally gave up." She burst into sobs but continued with words filled with sincere sorrow. "I didn't want to steal the necklace! I didn't!!! I tried not to." Fallow turned away, ashamed.
