She is so funny, this morning a crow flew above us and she couldn't find any immediate shelter in the yard so she ran under my legs lol.

The gent that sold me "pepper" said she came from a show line or something, but I didn't take too much notice because I want her as a pet, not a breeding stock (which is a real shame cos she is very beautiful).
Corey, What are the faults you see in your birds? Your female is definitely a darker female (which isn't a bad thing). It is hard for me to really see the details of your male. Would you say he has stronger silver/ white on him? I have a breeding pen where I have a dark male over a light female in it. So far they have balanced each other very well. Are there any other nit picky things you see in your birds that you would like to improve?
I am breeding this cockerel to the pullet because I think they can help each others faults.What does everybody think am I making the right decision on breeding the two? thanks, Corey
Even though she is only a pet entering her in a fair would be fun. You also get to meet other poultry enthusiasts there.
