Here are some pics of my 16-week-old SLWs (cockerel and two pullets) from Watson Ridge eggs. They have started to free-range with my big girls and are doing well.

Here's my boy:

And one of the girls (guess I didn't get a pic of the other girl!):

And their little Swedish Flower Hen buddy, same age, raised together:

Glad to hear that, just need a cockerel ! Thinking about buying some eggs from down south on e-bay so they are totally unrelated ! Any suggestions people ? Heard e-bay eggs are not that reliable ?

QUICK! Pullet or roo? I have a buyer for one of my SLW coming today because I thought I had two pullets. I managed to snatch this one for the first time since a week old and now I'm wondering of this is a roo because of the white patches. Opinions? Will be eight weeks old Tuesday.

Watch that black patch of feathers at the end of the back of his neck. Males have that black area, females don't. See TarheelBirdy's post right above yours. See the black feathering at the back of the neck of the roo? Yours is looking rooish to me because of that and legs look thick.

100% pullet. With that amount of feathering and the lack of wattles or a bright red comb it is definitely female.
