Alright.....my widdle brain is going wild over here. I am having visions of a shirt (alright, this would be the woman's shirt, for men I am drawing a blank so far) anyway, I kinda picture a baby chick stomping on a cigarette with the words "This chick don't smoke" and "I am a quitter".

Alright, I have one more idea and then I promise to shut-up (I am just really excited about this). We could start a new thread that is the "progress" thread. On the first, every person joining in could sign in with a post telling what they are doing to quit, how much they smoke, etc. That thread could be used exclusively for updates and instead of posting a NEW post simply update the original...as often as you want, just keeping it to the one post. That way we would have a quick and easy reference to how we are all doing. Hope you don't mind all my zeal EC....I know this is your baby.

Feel free to smack me up-side the head at any point if I get TOO excited!!!

Re a paypal account, I think this requires a lot more thought and I do so thank you for your trust, but I think there may be some sort of banking rules that might apply, particularly with me being in the Uk...don't know not sure.

What I was thinking though because now you have started me off on the excitement again, is what about a car sticker showing everyone your a quitter, there is a BYC member who creates decals for cars etc (with chickens on of course), check her out on buy/sell/trade....I am ordering in the new year one for myself re my chickens...she could design one for us and we could purchase individually from her....and we are then helping "one of our own" as well.....

Ohhhhh.....I have seen those decals. It looks like she does a really good job on them!!! That is definitely something I would be interested in getting!!!

You know, I have really been sort-of dreading the 1st getting here....knowing that is "the day". Every day, however, I get more and more excited and I am to that OMG I can't wait point right now!!!!

Wonderful!!!! I am very proud of you, too!!! You are my children's hero!!! They know you are the one who started this.

Even though I don't smoke around them, it isn't something I hide either and they want me to quit for me.

I still haven't convinced my husband but since he won't even be here until I have already quit (he should be here Jan. 2nd or 3rd) maybe he will decide to try.

Yes, and he will only be here for a month before he goes to Turkey for 15 months. *SIGH* So I have one short month to MAKE him quit with me!!!!

Believe it or not, this will be the longest we have had him home at one time in almost 4 years. However, when he returns from Turkey, he is OURS again!!!!

I really think he will at least TRY to quit since he knows it will make it harder for me if he doesn't. He is very, VERY good to me.

And he wants to quit, too, he just isn't feeling ready right now. I think being together will make it easier for both of us (or harder, depending on how much we drive each other insane)!!! LOL
