THE SMOKERS QUIT CAMPAIGN - ADDITONAL NOTES

I haven't spoken very much, but I am still around and I am still onboard this ship.

All of you quitters out there gives me strength and makes me believe that much more that we all can do it also.

BTW, if I don't come online for a while, then that means that I have broken my laptop, in a nicotine fit, and will have to take time to hook my desktop back up.....lol Just kidding. I know that I can quit.

It is set in my head and heart. When I start to have those cravings, then I will look at my little boy and remember that this is helping me be a part of his life longer.

I am going to make a jar and put $4.00 in that jar every day or $28. each week. That is how much I spend on cigs. every week, so I will have a nice little nest egg saved up for next Christmas. Also, if I should cave and have a puff, then I have to add an extra .50 cents per puff.

Actually, I have heard that if you have that craving and just have to have a puff, then take on puff and then put it down. I cannot do this, because I will want to smoke the whole cig.

I thought that more would have hopped on this thread by now considering the national average # of smokers. Come on folks ... join the party. We don't bite. At least not until after the 1st.

I recently quit-it makes me very sick but I still insist on smoking. I'm now an occasional social smoker when I can get away with not half dying after the 1st drag. Sigh, my addictions...chickens & smoking.

So glad to see that our quitters have taken up KStaven's offer of a "private Room" in his forum...than you Mr Moderator.... I have signed in,....those that haven't please do as I have also left a message for those with any medical conditions.....

SO GET ON BOARD THE QUTTING TRAIN........FOUR DAYS TO GO AND COUNTING.........................(after today that is)....

I WILL be a smoke free zone!

Hi babyboy1_mom,

That is really good idea and I am going to do the same,

I have been keeping both myself and my son in tobacco for a long time now, and Ihave decorated my jar with pictures of my new aims, like chickens, maybe a donkey and posibly some goats in the future.

Think of all the things we can do with the cash.

Good Luck,

Jena.
