The Society of Truth, an RP

She smiled and looked around
Alina, standing right in Lottie's 'line of fire', so to speak, hurriedly put down the boxes she was carrying and turned away with a sigh. What a mess of my room! I hope this doesn't have to last too much longer, because the aircraft isn't the only thing I'm working on, she thought to herself.

Calder, appearing behind her, startled her. She tripped backwards and he reached out and grabbed her arm.
"Whatever's wrong with you?" he asked, abruptly, then stopped as his mind flashbacked to the date on Michaela's death certificate.
"You made me jump," she replied, before heading downstairs and glancing at the clock.

Oh goodness, nearly eight PM - Dad will be home soon and I haven't got anything ready for him, she rebuked herself, hurrying into the kitchen.

(I might make a form for Alina's Dad just to make life easier and call him a supporter but not necessarily a member of the Society... is that okay with you all?)

Gender: Male
Power (If a Protector): N/A
Description: Tall, broad shouldered, black hair that is steel-tipped and slightly greying at the temples, grey eyes.

Other: Works as a statistician. His wife/Alina's mother died when she was a baby and the more recent grief of Michaela - Alina's older sister-'s death still lingers.

Mark decided to go into the kitchen to help Alina, since he had already eaten an apple out of there. "I'll be right back," he told Matt and Lottie.

Tara watched her “would you like a hand cleaning up?” She asked
"Thanks a million, that sounds great," Alina said with a smile. "This kitchen isn't the most practical in the world - the stove is the old wood-fired one, we never replaced it - but it does the trick for Dad and I."

Accepted!

And accepted.

Mark decided to go into the kitchen to help Alina, since he had already eaten an apple out of there. "I'll be right back," he told Matt and Lottie.

Alina heard his footsteps and turned. "Do you need anything?" she asked

"It's always better to make extra," Mark told her, then added, "Especially when I'm around."
Alina laughed in spite of herself, then nodded. "You're probably right. It's now a question of what's in the house..." she mused, opening cupboards to get an idea of the contents.

Heavy footsteps sounded in the hallway and a tall, stalwart-looking man walked in. He showed no major surprise at his kitchen being filled with people he didn't know. Perhaps Chris Kennedy was used to his daughter's idiosyncrasies. Or perhaps it was just his generally unperturbable nature.
