Depends on how short you want to cut it. I cut mine to my jaw last year and its only at my shoulders. You can't do ANYTHING with it when it's short. It's HORRIBLE!!!!!!!

I got the hair of the family. Seriously, It's crazy thick. And it gets this weird curl in it when it gets long...
