(I meant chew on not onward xD) hatchet tossed the skull/antler off to the side and set off to see Narfary. Hatchet ducked down her tail and licked the side of his muzzle and said "Narfary, what will happen when the animals leave? Are we to follow them or stock up on them in great abundances to save for when we need them? Also, Ugh never mind that."

Nafary looked at her and smiled at her friendly. "Your fine Hatchet, it's good to worry about these things. But fear not, we can follow the migration, if need be. The wildebeest's and zebra's will leave. But not all of our prey is migratory. The impalas stay, they are our main food. There will be food enough for us. We only take what we need, for it would rot, otherwise. So how have you been? You've been rather quite lately. Is that what was on your mind, Hatchet?" He asked her concerned.

Nafary nodded thoughtfully," Our families have that power over us. I don't remember my birth mother, but I'm often occupied with thoughts of her. What was she like, did she ever miss me." He paused as he looked off in the distance reflectively. Then shook his head and looked back at Hatchet. "The dogs we are now, are based upon our own decisions, not so much those of our families. It is true they are a forever part of us, but still just a part. I hope your family is well, Hatchet." He finished quietly. Then said," If you would excuse me, Hatchet. I need to speak with Amara." He nodded to her as he left.

(Ducky, you'd said you didn't want to be alpha anymore, that's why Narfary is mildly interested in Ronan. But if you do want to be alpha. I'll give it back to you, if you want. You can always take Narfary as your mate. Narfary was interested in Amara, but he thought it was one sided. Especially when she was looking elsewhere for a mate.)
