~The Song of Night and Dread of Day~ The RP(Role Play)

Siena looked at Amara concerned. "Winter has proven to be a hardship before. But we have always managed somehow. Maybe this year, will provide us with just enough." She said softly. But even to her own ears, it lacked conviction. Siena knew Amara had a dream that saw the future. For she had seen an attack on the pack and it had come true. What else had she witnessed she wondered.

Amara nodded, unsure yet. She looked back to see Nafary approaching. She lowered her head and tail a bit to respect him.

Amara nodded, unsure yet. She looked back to see Nafary approaching. She lowered her head and tail a bit to respect him.

Nafary greeted Amara with a smile. Then nodded to Siena. "I'm I really that much of a tyrant that everyone keeps doing that? Or perhaps I'm just not accustomed to it." He asked humorously. He looked at Siena and asked, "Could I have a word with Amara, alone, my sweet sister?"

Siena nodded vigorously and said, "But of course! I'll just be on my way."

Nafary paused and watched Siena go. Then turned back to Amara and smiled again. Only this time a little more unsure and a lot more nervous. "Amara, I've been thinking about something that...well.." He sighed deeply and said, " I composed it so elegantly on my way over here, but for some reason, my words have failed me now." He looked her in the eyes and after a long moment, gave caution to the wind. "Do you want to be alpha again, Amara? For you, I would give the pack back freely. Because I love you and you will always be my alpha. After all, I know you're not all that interested in me as a mate. So we'll just say, I held it for you." He smiled sadly at her.

I heard here and there of narfary and smart conversation and I was speechless... Amara our alpha!! Hatchet was surprised , amaras passive(that's not a Bad thing.) but .... Wow. Hatchet toggled the thought in her mind. Hatchet watched as another male wild dog was bossing around others , protesting that he should be alpha. Hatchet growled viciously, bolted over and tackled him, holding him down by his neck. The ruckus caught everyone's attention, and my eyes meet narfarys, but hatchet looked away and concentrated on holding down the squirming male wild dog.

Narfary said to Amara, " Hold that thought." He hunched his head and bared his teeth and trotted over to the offender. When he got there he nodded his thanks to Hatchet. Then turned his attention back to the male dog. "Is there a conversation we need to have? Because I'm ready to have it now, if you'd like." Narfary snapped his jaws right in front of the male's face. Making it clear, it wasn't talking he was referring to.

As soon as Hatchet let go, the male charged Narfary. Narfary stepped to the side last minute and grabbed the back of his neck. He shook him vigorously and threw him off balance, to where he landed hard on the ground. Before he could recover, Narfary bit his face to take out his right eye. "Now, that is my payment for your failed challenge. Next time, it'll be the other eye. Then you can forever beg for scraps like the weakling you are." Narfary said as turned and walked back to Amara, and said, " Now, where were we?"

Hatchet thought "wow! What a great leader. I would kill to be as honorable as him. But most dogs mock me and my family ..." Hatchets head lowered sadly as she lay under a bush, and watched the sun go down with her head on her paws.

Hatchet then Quickly trotted up to Narfary and said "sorry I shouldn't have let him go... I never thought he'd charge an alpha considering he is 10 times lower ranked than you." Hatchet looked at narfary with a concerned look, then asked "oh, are you ok?"

(Narfary is back with Amara already. Is that where you?)

Narfary looked at Hatchet and said, " I wanted you to let him up. There's only one way to resolve a challenge fight. He chose to fight, I answered him. Some times it's not the smart dogs that decide to challenge, but the power hungry ones." He smiled at Hatchet and said, " And yes, I'm fine, I don't even have a scratch." He finished. He frowned a little then said, " If I had been more vigilant, you wouldn't of had to intervene. But thank you anyways. You are an asset to the pack." He told her.
