~The Song of Night and Dread of Day~ The RP(Role Play)

Amara trotted beside Nafary

Narfary glanced back to make sure, everyone was on the move. Magdelegna, Siena and Ronan were close behind them. Satisfied that they weren't leaving anyone behind, he turned forward again. He playfully bummed Amara's shoulder and grinned at her. The unease he had felt, was lifting finally. With each step they took toward home, the tension was less and less.

Amara walked along, she was a bit tired. She looked to her left where the antelope usually grazed, but because of the migration they were not to be seen. She sighed and looked at Nafary, as time passed her nomadic instincts were trying to get her to follow the herds

Narfary walked over to Magdelegna and Siena and walked in silence for awhile. When he finally spoke, it was more of a reflection, then that of a conversation. "It feels so good to be returning home. There is something about this land. The smells on the wind, the familiarity of the terrain. I don't know, it's like it's a part of us somehow. Like the dust we've breathed, has in some way infused with our blood. Making us one with the land. So that when we die, we repay our debt to the earth. Or perhaps, I'm to sentimental for my own good." He looked at his sisters and smiled sadly.

Siena frowned at Narfary and asked, "What is vexing you brother? I've never seen you this way. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad thing. It's just different, for you."

Magdelegna stayed silent. But intently watched Narfary.

Narfary thought a moment, then said, "lots of things have become a factor. It wasn't until we were forced off our home and had to live somewhere else, did I realize what a part this land played in our pack. How important it is to our survival and our morale." He shrugged nonchalantly and kept walking. He felt in his bones, something was brewing. But the severity of the consequences, he did not know.

The packs return was an exciting thing.
Narfary sat and watched, as the pack did the greeting ceremony. The wild dogs that had transported food were distributing it to those who had to stay behind.

Ronan saw Narfary and walked over to him. She made a small noise so she didn't catch him off guard. He had been tense these past few days. When he looked over at her, she flattened her ears, asking for permission to approach. He nodded, so she preceeded. She licked the corner of his mouth, in respect. "It is a glorious reunion, is it not?" Narfary asked her. Ronan said in agreement, " It most certainly is. Do you mind if I sit with you?" Narfary whispered, "Please do, I'd enjoy the company. Everyone now, treats me so differently. Well, all except you." He looked at her as she sat down beside him. "Why is that, by the way? It's not like I've changed, just my position in the pack. Even Amara seems distant. It's like her body is here but the spirit is long gone. I fear she is to much of a nomad, for the pack life anymore." Ronan stayed quite for a moment, thinking things over. Since her joining this pack, Narfary and herself have always been close. "Perhaps she must work out some issues, no one can really know what another is going through. Give her time Narfary. But if she doesn't come back to herself, then search for another mate. There is still time. After all the breeding season is past, you'll still have until then, to decide." Ronan said comforting. Narfary sighed deeply and nodded. "You're right as usual, Ronan. Thanks for the remainder." He looked at her face and noticed the scratch was almost healed and was almost unnoticeable. He was glad, it had look bad when it happened. Ronan noticed him staring and looked down at the ground. "Fear not, you're still just as beautiful. It only enhances your inner beauty and character." She looked back at him surprised by his words. "Thank you. From you, those words mean truth." She smiled at him openly. He nodded to her and returned his attention back to the pack.

Amara nodded, agreeing to Narfary's commemt. "We are apart of this land in every way."
