I did a head count today....... I'm up to 40 chickens. oops? :gigHalf of them are bantams and most of them don't have names, so that brings my number down right?

Let me introduce you guys to the majority of my flock(s).

First, my Batchelor coop.

8 'brothers' that get along quite well. They usually get along better than the Bantam pullets! Most of the boys are red Pyle OEGB, 1 silkie, 1 silver duckwing OEGB and one possible minorca.

Next, Bantam pullets.

It's been a wet day here in Florida and everyone has been going from the cover to scratching around in the dirt.
I have 2 porcelain d'uccles, 3 silver duckwing OEGB, 1 black tailed white Japanese bantam and the rest are red Pyle OEGB.

Heres my favorite Bantam girl. She's a self blue OEGB. She enjoys jumping on me at every available moment.

5 out of 6 ducks. The last one was taking a bath when this was taken. And you can see the frizzled cockerel looking very un-fizzled like.

This little dude liked my phone.

I have more pictures of the younger ones but all this rain is making them not upload.

How many chickens/animals do you guys have?

The earlier mentioned 40 chickens and 6 ducks. I have 5 dogs, 1 chihuahua, 3 pitbull/bulldog mixes and a assumed yellow lab/great Dane mix. 2 fish and 2 cats. And to finish, 2 bearded dragons (and the 1000 crickets that get ordered for them every two weeks). Apparently animal math is also a thing!

Yeah, it sure seems you are a victim of animal math for sure! I love your chickens, beautiful colors all around. I would love to have ducks but it doesn't work here as I am 1/4 mile from a lake and they all take off and don't return! A little wading pool next to a few acres of lake just doesn't compare I guess. I only have 30 chickens, only one of them is a rooster (Harvey, named after the white rabbit in the old movie). I have names for some of the girls but not all. You know, the ones with the most expressive personalities get the names! I have 4 dogs and one husband. It's about all I can keep up with on a daily basis! Nice to meet your birds! ;)
