Heres chapter 7! Sorry if my grammer isn't to sarp

Chapter 7


There was about 5 more cats looking at her hungrily.
Serena slowly backed off. Then, suddenly one of the
Cats cried, “FORWARD!” instantly, all of the cats
Stampeded towards Winston and Serena. Both of the
Chickens ran down the trail. The chicken’s run was the
Cats jog. Suddenly, the cats stopped. They hissed and
Cowered, and then ran off. Serena and Winston turned
Around and saw a huge dog. “Hello.” He said. “My name
is Nikko.” The dog looked very old. “My name is Serena, and this is Winston. “What are you two doing all the way out here?”
Asked Nikko. “Oh, I got lost and Winston found me.”
Serena said. “Well, do you know your way home Winston?”
“No I don’t now. Not after being chased.” Said Winston. “I’ll
Show you chickens back home.” Nikko said smiling. “Sure!
That would be great!” Serena cried. “Ok, then. Let’s go!” Nikko
Said. They traveled for a long time. Finally, they came into territory
That looked familiar. “This looks like home!” Winston said happily.
“Let’s speed up!” Serena yelled. Nikko started jogging and the chickens tried to keep up the pace. “Hey Nikko!” Winston said in-between
Breaths. “I think I’ve seen you before.” “Where did you see me?”
Nikko asked. “At home!” Winton yelled. “yep, that’s where I live!”
Said Nikko. “How come I couldn’t tell who you where before?” Winston asked. “Well I shed my winter coat.” Before that the chickens had
Never talked to the dogs before. “Well I’m glad you saved us!” Serena
Yelled from behind. “Can we slow down now” She said. “Homes only over that hill.” Nikko said. They climbed over the hill and saw home!
“Yaay!” said Serena “Woo hoo!” Yelled Winston. “We made it!”
“Let’s go home.” Little did they know what awaited them there.

Chapter 8

Nikko, Winston, and Serena, skipped down the hill to home.
“Hey look!” Serena said excitedly. “There’s the pasture where
the horses are!” “Yes and look! There’s the old coop!” Winston
added. The gang finally reached the last stretch of the trail.
Winston and Serena forced they’re tired body’s to go faster.
Finally, they where home. “Friends!” “FRIENDS?” Winston yelled.
“Where is everybody?” Serena cried. “Let’s check in the coop, Serena.
They have to be in there.” Winston said. They both ran into the coop. There it was empty. “Lulu? LULU!” Serena screamed and ran to lulu’s
side. “S-Serena?” Lulu asked softly. She opened her beak to say
something. “No, be quite Lulu. I’m here. I’ll tell you what happened
later. Serena said. Then Winston crowed three long crows to call
the “Humans” to come. Sure enough, they saw 4 of the Humans.
They made some gibberish sounds. “It looks like the two chickens
are home!” “To bad about the raccoon.” Said one of the humans.
“Hey look!” Another said. “Lulu’s down!” They ran to get her. “Lets
Take her to the vet!” And with that, they left. “Poor Lulu!” Serena said
sadly. Where’s Chickadee and my chicks at? Winston asked.
Winston and Chickadee where mates and they had 7 chicks.
“I don’t know Winston!” I thought I heard the humans say
“Raccoon.” “Then we must find them!” Winston said loudly.
“But we just got here! Can’t we just rest?” “Sure you can Serena.
I’m going to find Chickadee though.” But I thought you were friends
With me!” Serena argued. “Sure you’re my friend. But Chickadee
and me are mates. Good bye!” “WINSTON! Come back!”
There was no answer. “Fine! Be that way.” She thought. I guess
we were never ment to be friends.
