I went back in the Deerhen thread to refresh. Is this correct to start breeding to Cookie's standards? Clan breeding

I still don't know what is going on genetically, but it is interesting to see the detail of the feather.

I've recently noticed that Bruce's heels almost touch when he's on the perch standing and he has minor difficulties walking across the perch. I believe it's knocked knees. I haven't been able to get a good picture yet but it's very close to the chick and sketched image below.

If it's genetic I wasn't going to breed him anyways.

Daffodil laid her first egg! Looks like it's brown or olive with a blue bloom making it look almost purple! May actually be more of a pink bloom. Unfortunately the camera doesn't show its color very well.

Got some new pictures of the chicks (now adults). I also managed to get a rough weight on Lacy.
