I have spent so much time starting at her feathers trying to decide if she's blue or black! After looking really closely at them under natural light I thiiiiink she's a really dark blue. I may cross post these on the BLR wyandotte thread for more experienced opinions.

I also got the BEST pictures of the wyandotte (kids are threatening to start calling her enchilada if husband doesn't name her soon) and our olive egger Limu tonight!

Husband got the walls up on the coop tonight! Tomorrow I'm going to start putting up the hardware cloth. Fingers crossed we can move the girls out of the basement this weekend!

Spent the day attaching the hardware cloth to the coop. Now it just needs a door and a ceiling and we should be able to move the girls in this weekend! I might get the ceiling up tomorrow. Depends on how much I'm feeling today.

Waiting out a thunderstorm with the chickens this morning. They seem to be settling into the new coop beautifully.

Artemis is so stinking cute! I love her.

And Marcille is still keeping me guessing about her color. I'm nearly certain she's dark blue but then I doubt myself.
