Yea, Cluck I am too greatful for this thread and you guys! Never having Sultans before I was scared to death I wouldnt know what to do or how to take care of them. Alll of your advice here have helped me sooooooo much!

I agree, I really like being able to talk to other Sultan owners. I've learned so much already, know now that Nugget isn't crazy!

Here is Nuggie, post fluffcut. She's terrible to take pictures of. She's constantly moving her little head around and ruins most shots! I can see today that I didn't evenly trim both sides. Oops. It'll grow out in a week anyway!

Fishnet1971- Good luck trying to create a style! I just aimed for whatever I could get off without snipping skin or poking eyes! Both Olive and Nugget have mohawks now.

Today is gorgeous! Which means.... picture time!!!! I have a lot of work to do on the coop before noon so I am hoping to grab some good shots of my little Raja while out, as well as her buddies. :)

I LOVE talking Sultans! They are very interesting, and I am no expert (yet) but loving diving into the breed. They are silly little things, and I have a soft spot for crested breeds. Hoping one of my babies turns into a rooster, though! I may have to find one locally or even a hen to help improve what I have. We'll see what the end of this year brings.

So thankful you all are here, too, to chat with. No many Sultan peeps out there!

I need to trim Jazzy again, she's started getting squirrely when I walk near her haha. They really are a breed all their own! Such characters :p

My teenagers are turning out nicely! However it's time for me to be a doubting Thomas because I don't know what genders I have now. They are 10 weeks old now I believe and I need to take a peek at their foreheads, but no major comb growth yet.
