Should her eyes be pink?

I did an internet search and it said brown eyes are standard for sultans and pink eyes only occur in albino chickens.

Humm, the eyes in the picture seem normal to me? They do darken as they get older. My bird's eyes seem to have the same red-bay look as my Crevecoeurs...? Maybe a touch lighter? They should be pure white. Sunshine can make them turn a little yellowish, I've heard? And all white birds get dirty, LOL.

I've been looking at everyone's pictures and drooling! They are beautiful birds! I just picked up seven little, five toed, feathered legged chicks from Tractor Supply today. They were in the "assorted bantams" bucket so I don't know what they are for sure. I posted in the "What breed is this" and was told that they look like sultans. What do you think? Can I safely get ecstatic that I have sultans?

Can't think of anything else they could be except maybe white houdans? Houdans won't have vulture hocks though They are so darn cute! Congratulations!

Here are two of mine! I guessed sex when they were 4 days old when I picked their leg band colors . We'll see what they end up being!

Yes I have the other 3 still ^_^. These were just the two that were the most obvious sexes early on...I think, haha.

You know, I did my guesses early on too, and they weren't completely off, not sure if I did better than "average" anymore, LOL. They sure keep you guessing a long time!

Well, I sat in the coop and trimmed all the girl's nails and beaks today. It's kind of nice to do that because I spend a little extra time with each bird afterwards petting and hugging them. Their beaks and toe nails just don't get worn down because they don't scratch much. They never got a lot of 1 on 1 and when they were younger, they really were skittish, but now that they're getting older, they can still spook, but they let me reach in and pet them in their coop now, without running away. Pretty special!

Hok, they are precious!!! Yup i would agree 1 boy 1 girl. Thats exactly what i saw in vick n Elizabeth. Lol

So sorry Jharper, but you have some on order, no? What's the status? I can't remember anymore, LOL (my memory sucks!)

yea, Cluck, Vick is not going anywhere. Over mydead body. lolol. I love his tooomuch. I have already been checking around for a second coop/shed. Guess my income tax will be going to something for me this year!!!! here they are today.

but ya know, Vick's crest feathers have grown over her/his comb and it has not gotten any redder or pinker either. They now both look the same except Vicks crest is growing HUGE!!!! I was looking for any start of saddle feathers and so far they both look identical beth and vick.
