Lily looks like my white chicks, always getting poop'd upon! They seem to like to snuggle down under a roost! LOL Silly buggers!

They're both adorable! Are they 7 or 8 weeks now? They do look like girls, I mean, if my theory is correct about color in the face earlier for boys... 'cause I have almost half of mine with color in the comb/upper face. Will see if that works out to be true in time

Yours are also bantam size, right?

They are about a little less than two months. I bought bantams, but with hatchery quality not sure if they are going to be bantam size.

Lol.
Ivory keeps "herself" pretty clean, while Lily is always messy!

Aw. I'm sorry.

I've had a rough day too. I hatched a blind chick last Wednesday, and I've gotten really attached to her. Today I thought I was going to lose her.

I seriously was bawling like a baby. She's fine now. I guess she was just really weak.

Maybe she just can't find her food and water? From reading other threads on blind birds, they need a lot of help with that. I think eventually they'll be able to find the food and water on their own? As long as it's always in the same place. I hope she is doing better!

She's doing so much better now, thank you. I've been "spoon" feeding her ever since she was old enough to eat. I'm feeding her egg yoke along with moist chick feed. She loves egg yoke.

I tried giving my chicks cooked egg yolk, and none of them would eat it! Should it be raw? Or are all my chicks chicken s#*! ? LOL Seriously, my Seramas are game for almost anything (except the yolk) but the Sultans won't try anything besides chick feed!

Same here!

I gave my Sultans the rind of a Pumpkin left over from baking Pumpkin pie. Yummy.

And both screchted and ran to the corner while ALL the other chicks ran over and started chowing down on it!

By the way, Hope (the blind baby) died during night.

I'll miss her.

One way you can transition them to treats is making mush with their pellets. Get a little feed and add a lot of warm water until it is like thick oatmeal. Sprinkle scratch on top and you've got yourself chicken crack! None of my birds will refuse it and then they start trying other things
