I got my first 6 seramas for $60 all together. Didn't break the bank & they gave me a decent start

You can find decent seramas at a fraction of what some breeders charge, but that is more because the person had them as pets or they don't want to keep seramas anymore. Just keep your eyes open if you're really interested in having a few... I actually have a frizzled serama cochin chick free to a good home right now. He looks very much like both parents (his feathering and perkiness came from his serama Dad, and his foot feathers and color came from Mom).

Well, they would be expensive if they were regular chickens......but these are NOT regular chickens! Yes, sometimes you can get them cheap, but just make sure they are typey. No offense, and I know how some culls can become pets (I have some pets that are culls), and you may not know better yet, but Bingo is NOT typey. This is not to run you, or your bird down, I thoughht my culls were THE best until I found the SCNA and saw tabletop judging, etc. If you go To www.scnaonline.org, you will find standards for judging, and you can sign up as a member. Membership gets you access to The forum, where you will meet some of the nicest people I have ever met, they made me feel right at home. Check them out, you can't go wrong!!!!
