Chipotle found it necessary to supervise the crew that was laying electric line from the existing post to our house.

They've been surprisingly blase about heavy equipment operating 20 feet or less from the pen. Sometimes they hid in the coop when a noisy thing like a trencher started up, but for the most part crews of strangers doing loud things didn't disturb them significantly.

Girl, Chipotle is a California White pullet approaching POL.

Though my smallest hen, she aspires to be the flock leader -- except that one of the Blue Austalorps wants the position for herself.
