No, this isn't the movies. Shooting a gun under stress is hard, and that's why some of us train at it. I understand that, so I'll do the best I can if the situation arises. This is mental preparation, and is as important as shooting the gun for practice.
What I refuse to do though, is just sit idly by and leave my and my loved ones safety to, more or less, chance. Yes, we can make good decisions and try to stay safe, but you just never know when trouble can arise.
