The Sussex thread!

I have a trio of Buff Sussex a pair of Coronation Sussex 7 Silver Sussex Pullets and 1 Silver Sussex Cockerel. I am in the process of getting 2 trios of
Light Sussex and buying some Red Sussex chicks. I would like to know how to up-load pictures so I can let you see my birds and tell me what you think.

Rick,
Later in the fall of spring we will have to swap some eggs. I really want some Buff/Red Sussex.

Buff Sussex and Red Sussex are two different color varieties.

Ok, here are my 2 Speckled Sussex girls. They are hatchery chicks and are now 16 weeks old, no sign of getting ready to lay me eggs yet. Gentleness is the "runt of the litter" and a small, lightweight girl, but my office sends me home leftover food every week, so I'll fatten her up!

Beautiful, beautiful girls! I have two of them as well as 2 Easter Eggers & 2 Silver-laced Wyandottes. They are about the same age as yours.

I can't get over how much smarter my coro sussex are than the marans they are bunking with. The sussex are more active, first ones to be brave enough to "walk the plank" to go in and out of the hen house, and come running now when they see me for a treat or two. They are really starting to bulk up in size. Pics to follow if I can't ever get them to slow down enough to take a pic.
