finally got ahold of some Speckled Sussex eggs to put in the bator. Set them today and hatch day is 4th of July!

We got to see the parent stock and all their ribbons from the county and State fair. Really looking forward to seeing the little fuzz butts on hatch day!

I am super excited. I had to hatch out 9 to get 2, but it was all worth it, when I saw the Lavender!

I have only 3 pullets. The more they grow (and grow and grow) the more I am liking them. Nice temperment and pretty to look at.
