The Sussex thread!

I have both a hen and rooster. Both are treat hounds LOL. hen is,very docile. Rooster has been testy though. She lays light brown medium sized eggs about 4-4 a,week doesn't lay October-spring. Just started laying again. She's one of my favorites

Mine may get upset with us. We do not give many treats. Live mealworms 3-4 times a week. We do not do a lot of feed either. Our birds forage, are given fodder, and fresh veggies daily.
 
Well at least you are getting some I want one. But I will get one eventually, hopefully. You better keep us updated. LOL

I free range as well. fodder, and fresh veggies are their treats (: I give Fermented feed once a day as well. teice a day in the winter. she goes nuts over it

Great! I see that you take great care of your birds. We do a fermented mix with warm oatmeal now. I think it helped with the snowy days.
